BioCO2

During the biogas upgrading process, CO₂ is removed from biogas to obtain pure biomethane. However, the discarded bioCO₂ still can be considered as a valuable resource that we can avoid releasing in the atmosphere.

Thanks to its bioCO₂ recovery systems, that can be fully integrated into existing upgrading plants, Pietro Fiorentini allows the capture and transformation of the off-gas coming from upgrading into high-quality valuable product. With the use of advanced technologies such as membrane upgrading and a new distillation process, the plants are able to successfully purify and liquefy bioCO_2.
