BioCO2
From pollutant to resource
During the biogas upgrading process, CO2 is removed from biogas to obtain pure biomethane. However, the discarded bioCO2 still can be considered as a valuable resource that we can avoid releasing in the atmosphere.
Thanks to its bioCO2 recovery systems, that can be fully integrated into existing upgrading plants, Pietro Fiorentini allows the capture and transformation of the off-gas coming from upgrading into high-quality valuable product. With the use of advanced technologies such as membrane upgrading and a new distillation process, the plants are able to successfully purify and liquefy bioCO2.
