Pietro Fiorentini DB: the sixth Company of the Group in Asia-Pacific
21 March 2023 - CorporateThe new company of the Group in the Asia-Pacific region is Pietro Fiorentini DB, a joint venture with the local partner Dandekar Brothers. Built last year, despite travel restrictions due to the pandemic, the plant is in Talegaon, near Pune in the state of Maharashtra.
Like the whole Group, Pietro Fiorentini DB will follow the principles of Lean Management that permeates our corporate culture. According to the local for local strategy followed by the Group, it will produce residential meters, both mechanical and smart, to respond the demand of the Indian market by producing locally.
Fabio Baggio, Gas & Water Solutions Strategic Business Unit Director at Pietro Fiorentini, commented: “With the new Company, our presence in the Asia-Pacific region rises to six, adding to Pietro Fiorentini India, Saudi Arabia, Shanghai Fiorentini, Shanghai Sinergy and Fiorentini (Changzhou) Energy Equipment.
